Started at Gowlane where wind was cross-off with small waves. But the wind was crazy with a gust of 62 knots and it was hard to hold on and not much fun so I stopped after one run to see if it was better elsewhere.
Strangely there was nothing at Dumps. Castlegregory beach on Tralee bay looked ok at around 30 mph so I tried 4m but by the time I got rigged the wind went mental.
By then the tide had come in so we could sail from outside the house by Spillanes. It was ok on 4m for a while as I worked my way up wind but then the wind went mental again.
Three stars for effort not because it was ever average!
